Yes, they're all needed and plenty of each.
I discovered something today. It takes a good
bit of preparation when one is quilting.
It requires bringing out all those
containers of fabric I've stored away
through the years.
I knew the occasion would come one day
and now the pay-off for saving fabric
remnants and scraps is finally here.
I began today, cutting squares
and color coordinating them in separate stacks.
I am considering appliques....birds, stars,
moons.....and these too will have to be cut out.
Time consuming,
yes....
but each quilting project will be a
"sweet labor of love."
