You get it all at Capt'n Jack's Restaurant.....
great seafood, service and awesome scenery.
We tried to ignore the heat and so did a lot of
other folks sitting outside overlooking the water.
The large umbrellas kept the sun off us but
other than that they did very little else.
No sooner had we ordered large glasses of iced tea and
Grouper sandwiches, than we began noticing
the boats coming into the docks one after the
other. What was all the commotion about, we wondered.
It was then we noticed the sign that read
"Red fish Tournament."
We saw some pretty large fish, as they
weighed and measured them. I can imagine
a few fish stories were being told
amongst that group of guys. I doubt they
even realized the temps were registering
around 100 degrees.
Our Grouper sandwiches were really
good and the entertainment even better.
And so it was, a fun hot Saturday afternoon
in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
