While reading the morning paper, we foundthat the Tarpon Springs Yacht Club was
having an antique wooden boat show today,
and, that it was opened to the public.
Needless to say, "you know who" was up
for this in a big kind of way.
We called
for directions and off we went.
It was a beautiful day and when we
pulled into the Club parking, we
could see the boats and a few yachtsmen gathered around.
I thought to myself, this
is indeed one of those places, I would
consider "a man's world."
The "Mister" an old Navy man, thought
he'd died and gone to heaven.
As you can
see from the photos, he was in his own
little world as he examined and read all about each boat.
Someone had driven an old car to the show,
and he took a good look at it as well.
Although a "man thing," it was interesting to me
and, a good
summertime thing to do.
