Ducks In The Pool

I found this picture on Google Images, and had

to laugh, remembering the dilemma with ducks

in our swimming pool, a few years back.

It never quite came to "baby ducks" ...for

our visitors were young themselves.

It took a couple of weeks of creative

techniques by the Mister, to

discourage them, but it

finally worked.

One day, they finally got the message.

-

I'm remembering how cute they were,

swimming back and forth and occasionally

quacking.....but the spoiler of the whole

affair was the clean-up after them.

Never-the-less, today remembering

the pleasantries of their uninvited visit

brings a smile to my heart.
