Camellia Blooming

This little Camellia bush in my garden has really outdone itself this year. It is "chock-a-block" full of buds and blooms. It has been in the same location for over twenty years and is no more than four feet tall. I suppose the sandy soil of Florida just might have something to do with stunting it's growth, but it seems healthy and produces each January the most beautiful flowers. The photos were taken early this morning....love how the sun is just touching it in various places.
