What we have here is
a Muscadine grapevine, from
at our local Lowe's garden
shop.

"You see this little vine Lily....hopefully
it will produce grapes and they will
be sweet and juicy and maybe we
can make grape jelly!"
"Can we eat them?"
"Yes indeed," I replied.
I suppose a lot of what I plant
in my garden is new and mysterious
to my grandchildren.
Nearly everthing is new in their eyes
and my how I love to see their curiosity and
answer their questions.
I'm just hoping for one or two grapes this
first year....but who knows, things seem
to grow and produce much faster here
in this tropical climate. We could,
after all, hope for at least one jar
of sweet Muscadine jelly.
