From The Pages Of A Childhood Story.....

A Winter Morning At The Chicken Coop
I have lots of childhood stories stored in my memory banks. Seems all I have to do is get out my pencils and watercolors and a story comes to mind. One day I'll put them down on paper for my children and my grandchildren. For now, I'm remembering them, jotting down details and working on my illustrations....... Winters in Pennsylvania were bitter cold. Lights left on in the chicken coop were always necessary. Funny when I think back on those days.....at the break of dawn that ole rooster didn't seem to mind a little cold. It was his place to wake us all up. As I recall, he never missed a day.
