For much of the day, I've been making Valentines and...... they are coming along nicely. As is common in most cases, I've been using various shades of red on my cards. While painting little red hearts, it occurred to me that red is not a color I use a lot. I decorate with mostly pale neutral colors and lots of white. I concluded that only twice a year, do I even bring red flowers into my home. At Christmas, I enjoy red Poinsettias and again in January when my Camellia bush produces red flowers. Even now, Camellias are scattered throughout my home.
You know, I've read that in China, red is the color of happiness and prosperity. Could be.....all this red has me feeling pretty cheerful.
