Silky Pinkish Grasses

Honeymoon Island State Park, is a short drive from our home. It has beautiful unspoiled, non-commercialized beaches and we love it there. Today, once again a very hot hot day, we drove down just to take a look at whatever came our way. For a while, we sat watching a tall skinny white Egret looking for lunch. He found it. We saw him stalk a lizard, swallow him whole, flap his great wings and fly away. We've taken the same drive many times through the years, and today was the first time noticing these silky pinkish grasses. Hmmm....I'm not sure of the silky word, but it fits them nicely. I believe these grasses to be green during the summer, then turning this lovely pinkish color in early autumn. What do you think? Nice huh?
