It goes way back to my childhood days, I suppose. Growing up, it was the norm to have tomatos served at each and every meal. Tomatos for breakfast, tomatos on sandwiches at lunchtime and of course tomatos in a variety of prepared ways served at the evening meals. Habits are hard to break, so this morning on my breakfast plate, a delicious sliced tomato lay beside fried eggs and bacon.
It's difficult to think anything but pleasant thoughts while eating a home grown tomato.~Lewis Grizzard
