It is strangely peculiar
the feeling one has
when all the world
is seemingly covered with lovely white snow.
On the Gulf Coast
of Florida
we've had all the elements necessary
or so it would seem
for snow today!
We had no sunshine.
Overcast rain with grey skies
was spoken of in the forecast.
Ugh!
It rained all day long.
High winds enough to
blow palm fronds
to and fro in
all directions.
"Bone-chilling" cold!
I want it to snow!
and I'm feeling a little left out.......
Wishing and hoping and
Dreaming of white.
